Katelyn was born in Rochester, New York, and was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She began performing at age four and since then has strived for theatrical excellence with every performance.

At age five, her parents took her to see The Lion King on Broadway. She was so mesmerized by what unfolded before her that she did not utter a single word during the entire performance. A silence that was a small miracle back then... and sometimes even now. She was hooked. From that moment, she has known exactly what she wanted to do with the rest of her life.

In Kansas City, Katelyn has trained in acting, voice and dance under various teachers. She attended Lee's Summit High School and performed in many musicals and plays, including the Blue Star Awards Overall Production winning Wonderful Town and Carousel in which she played Nettie Fowler. She trained vocally with Beth Munce from her sophomore year until she graduated high school and went on to Oklahoma City University.

As a musical theatre student at OCU, Katelyn studied voice with Dr. William Neild Christensen. While attending Oklahoma City, Katelyn performed in the Oklahoma premiere of Leonard Bernstein's MASS and portrayed the titular role in "Violet" along with many other productions.

After college, Katelyn moved back to Kansas City to finish earning her membership into Actors Equity Association. During that time, she graced the stages of The Kansas City Repertory Theatre, New Theatre Restaurant, Spinning Tree Theatre, Egads! Theatre Company, The Coterie, and The Living Room.

Currently, Katelyn resides in New York City and is chasing the Broadway dream all the while performing as much as she can! Keep checking the UPCOMING tab for performance news!
